ArchitectureOnly a few meters from the North Sea beach are three buildings in the architectural style of the American east coast. Built from lots of wood and clad with durable and environmentally friendly materials. The many balconies and external stairs make it look light and airy, like the surrounding landscape. The construction was carried out in collaboration with local companies and businesses, and parts of the interior have been designed in a creative DIY style by local artists and craftsmen.

EnvironmentIt is the many small conscious steps that slowly but steadily lead to the goal. For example, there is only one trash can in the rooms of the Beach Motel. This means that over 30,000 rubbish bags can be avoided each year. And even at the breakfast buffet, there is no waste in the absence of individual packaging. By the way, guests can participate directly in nature conservation and are thus made aware of the topic: If you do without daily room cleaning, the hotel will donate € 3 per day and room to environmental organizations. The hotel uses 100% green electricity. Where possible, lamps only light up when the motion detector is activated and only energy-saving lamps are used. Also to save electricity, there is a shared refrigerator in every room instead of refrigerators. The hotel staff receive regular training on waste separation and sustainability. And community beach cleaning activities are organized several times a year. No wonder the hotel is only 100 meters from the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and has committed itself to protecting it by becoming a National Park Partner. This means that the operators regularly take part in special training courses and have committed themselves to complying with certain quality criteria and quality standards that benefit the protection of the national park.

Well-BeingThere is a small wellness oasis in the hotel with several different saunas and experience showers. There are indoor relaxation rooms and an outdoor area with hammocks, where guests can hang out comfortably and try out the free range of teas. If you want to treat yourself to a little more enjoyment, you can choose from various offers such as wellness baths, massages and facial or body treatments.
