The vision of the owners Pelle and Eva Hjortblad is clear: their guests should feel at home. And that shouldn't be too difficult either, considering the beautiful surroundings and the great house. Located on a beautiful lake, surrounded by nature and a beautiful garden, it's easy to relax here.
All 44 rooms of the house are culturally valuable and individually designed in a classic manor house style. The main building dates from 1871, the wings from 1700 and the old house, the Golden Pearch, dates from 1640, so you can really delve into the history of the house here.
By the way: Kings, Nobel Prize winners and famous designers have resided here over the years.

Sustainable
FoodAbout 40% of the food on site consists of organic food, some of which is even home-grown. The waste from cooking is recycled.
The staff consists exclusively of locals. All staff receive a 50% discount on meals and there is a four double bedroom staff villa. The gym, boats, bikes, and spa are free for all employees to use. Since 2017, Toftaholm Herrgård has also supported a project, a restaurant school, in an area where young people have very few opportunities to develop and find a job. It started as a pilot project in a small village in one of the poorest countries in the world, Burkina Faso, where the public sector is very small but creativity is big. The aim is to create conditions for entrepreneurship and ideas related to food.
EnvironmentToftaholm is Green Key certified and has geothermal heating in all buildings. Pelle and Eva do everything they can to be as eco-friendly as possible.
Well-BeingThere is a unique eco-spa by the lake, where you can relax after a bike ride, a canoe ride or a walk in the forest. There is also a small spa with sauna and hot tub in the house.
