Casa A Pedreira

Cuntis, Galicia, Spain

If you want to experience a gorgeous starry sky almost at the end of the world, this is the place for you. Not far from the Casa a Pedreira is the Finisterre coast (end of the world), which ended the world known to the ancient Romans.

Santiago de Compostela is also very close to Casa a Pedreira. It is a good idea to take a trip here, provided you can tear yourself away from the hotel's wonderful gardens with its many tranquil retreats.

Just like the inside of the house, the garden is extremely lush, colorful and varied. The owner Marian Gomez has been running the small boutique hotel in the old stone country house from the 19th century for 12 years.

In the surrounding area there are a variety of excursions to natural and cultural sites. The hotel helps you to come up with ideas and to make reservations, and at the end of the day you can look forward to an eventful return with a new "mucho cariño" cooked seasonal menu.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe old country house is built in the traditional Galician architectural style from natural stone and consists of nested building parts. The house and outbuildings have been carefully renovated with the help of local artisans and regional materials. The children can play in the beautifully decorated former pigeon house.

FoodThe restaurant only cooks for the overnight guests present and in consideration of their special wishes and needs. Every day, the products needed for today's menu are freshly procured on the market, unless they come from your own garden. Breakfast and dinner are offered. On request, picnic packages can also be packed, which can be enjoyed by the pool or on excursions. There are freshly squeezed juices and energy shakes and detox diets and basic dishes can be served on request.

EnvironmentAbove the Casa a Pedreira, the stars can be admired particularly well, because the operators pay particular attention to avoiding light pollution. They also created their own environmental and cultural hiking trail, the Weg da Moura.

Well-BeingDepending on the season, there are different health and wellness offers. For example yoga, massages or Ayurvedic treatments. Upon request, detoxification therapy can be supported with specially prepared dishes. In collaboration with the nearby Thermas de Cuntis SPA, there are special wellness packages for hotel guests.
