ArchitectureEach accommodation has its own story, the ideas came from an architecture competition for students. The aim was to create artistic accommodations that blend well into the natural environment. Each building is unique in the form and also in the decoration of the interior. The huts were made by hand from chestnut wood, the lodges consist of clay insulated with wood wool. Each hut and lodge has a sleeping area and a terrace for breakfast. The cabins have their own toilet, the bathrooms are in the common area at the water point. Overall, attempts were made to influence nature as little as possible or to seal the area. That is why the paths are made of clay, for example.

FoodThe restaurant is run under two premises: On the one hand, as little waste as possible should be produced. On the other hand, they only cook with ingredients that take no longer than 30 minutes to reach by car. About half of the ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation. The cheese, white beans and soups on offer are very special regional specialties. The meat comes from a local butcher. Brioche, bread, organic cereals, organic cheese, butter, homemade jam, yoghurt, organic apple juice and orange juice are served for breakfast.

SocialAll employees can spend the night in a room of their choice. The hotel operators pay attention to a friendly working atmosphere, reasonable working hours and good food.

EnvironmentThe hot water is produced by a solar heating system. Care is taken in the restaurant not to waste food. The hotel staff has been specially trained in environmentally friendly behavior. The animals belonging to the hotel are fed with green waste.
