Oasi Cenata offers picturesque views of an olive grove and citrus garden, as well as a park. Originally designed in the early 19th century as a horse stable and country house, Oasi Cenata was opened as guest accommodation in 2019 by current owners Anna and Carlo. Villa Saetta, built in 1892 by Carlo's great-grandfather, forms the core of the property where they live.
The Alloro apartment is a studio apartment with a double bed, while the Melograno is a mini apartment with a double bed and a French sofa bed. The style of both apartments is simple and elegant, with some furniture being old family heirlooms and others designed in a modern and functional way. Warm, clean colors create a cozy atmosphere that offers guests maximum comfort.
The atmosphere at Oasi Cenata is peaceful and welcoming, ideal for enjoying the view of the olive grove or relaxing by the pool. This accommodation is a special retreat, immersed in the historical and natural beauty of Salento. All the greenery on the property is grown naturally and without chemicals, with particularly heat-resistant plants being selected.

ArchitectureThe restoration of Oasi Cenata was carried out according to the traditions of the place, preserving history with its traces and stratification, including the imperfections. The original floor of the Melograno apartment, an opus signinum pavement, was preserved thanks to the skill and patience of local artisans. The external plaster was restored without removing the signs of aging. The internal walls were plastered with non-toxic and disinfectant lime, doors and windows received a water glaze and the vaults were cleaned without removing the original plaster. Both the Oasi Cenata and the villa were built by quarrying tuff directly on site next to the villa. Today, the old quarry is home to a small pine forest that provides shade and cooling.
EnvironmentThe Oasi Cenata is equipped with photovoltaic panels that provide electricity production and solar panels to heat water. There is a separate waste collection, rainwater is collected in old tanks. Natural cleaning products are available in the apartments. Effective microorganisms are used in the care of all plants. Carlo is a doctor and a member of ISDE (Association of Doctors for the Environment). He and Anna are part of many local groups that deal with sustainable agriculture. They always strive to involve guests and inform them about their sustainable management of the garden and olive grove.
Well-BeingOsteopathic, postural and nutritional consultations can be arranged at the property upon request. A swimming pool is also available.
