I Moresani is a family-run agriturismo founded in 1998 and located in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Italy, the Cilento National Park.
The owners are two brothers and a sister, but the hosts' mother and uncle also work here. The siblings' parents used to be farmers and had some animals and fields. At some point, the younger generation decided to take over the business, expand it and open it to guests. Today, the property covers around 100 hectares.
The Monzo family is a typical Cilento family, very proud of their origins and their territory. They decided to start their business here because they always believed in the great potential of the region. In 1998, the "agriturismo concept" was not yet very widespread, but the hosts were already convinced of it.
The aim of I Moresani was to create a place dedicated to organic farming, hospitality and typical gastronomy, in order to contribute to the preservation of local traditions and support the local economy. The interior design and furniture of the accommodation are in a rural style and the rooms are flooded with light. Wood and iron are the main materials used, as they give the rooms a certain originality.

FoodAt the on-site restaurant, guests can enjoy dishes deeply rooted in the family and local traditions, closely linked to the Mediterranean diet, prepared mainly with raw materials from the organic farm. The hosts strive to produce as much as possible themselves: vegetables, olive oil, wine, wheat (ancient grains), as well as grass, hay and corn for the animals. They raise cows, pigs and goats, so the meat also comes directly from the farm. They are also producers of two Slow Food presidiums: Cilento goat cacioricotta and Salella cracked olives. One of the most traditional dishes offered at the restaurant is the fusilli with meat sauce. This handmade pasta is the most typical of Cilento and was once prepared by the hosts' grandmothers for parties and celebrations. Vegetable waste is used, whenever possible, to feed the animals.
EnvironmentGarbage is carefully separated in the accommodation and towels and bed linen are only changed upon request.
Well-BeingThere is an outdoor pool surrounded by olive groves and lemon trees, and guests can also book massages and yoga sessions.
