The Agriturismo Corte Pravecchio is nestled between vineyards, rolling hills and the green moraine landscape of northern Italy.
The area surrounding the farm is characterized by meadows, old trees, and abundant nature. In the mornings, you'll mainly hear birdsong, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot bee-eaters or hoopoes. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed; many guests describe the place as a spot where you can quickly leave everyday life behind and truly unwind.
The small agriturismo is run by Mia and her partner Ivan. The farm has been in the family for around 40 years and is now being managed by the third generation. Originally, it was primarily a weekend retreat for the family, until the idea of sharing this special place with others blossomed into a personal passion project. The historic private house dates back to the 18th century, while the guest area is a new construction, incorporating hemp bricks and a strong focus on natural materials.
The design combines minimalist, Nordic-inspired aesthetics with the warm colors of the surrounding landscape. Earthy tones, natural fabrics, and abundant light define the rooms. Even details like hemp bedding reflect this concept. All rooms follow the same tranquil design language and feature private terraces, small gardens, and separate entrances, ensuring a high degree of privacy.
The atmosphere at Corte Pravecchio is deliberately understated: spacious, light-filled and tranquil, characterized by slow living, naturalness and an unobtrusive hospitality that leaves room for peace, slowness and the famous "dolce far niente".

The guest area was constructed using natural and regional materials. These included hemp bricks, lime plaster, and oak wood, which are not only sustainable but also create a pleasant indoor climate. The concept is complemented by a saltwater pool and a private garden from which fresh ingredients are harvested and fed directly into the kitchen. Many of the materials and services were sourced from local and regional suppliers.
Once or twice a week, a communal apericena takes place in the evening around the large communal table. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests gather, eat together, and enjoy a long evening amidst the garden, wine, and good conversation. A vegetarian menu is usually served, featuring ingredients from the garden or from local farmers in the surrounding area. Here, too, emphasis is placed on the conscious use of food: kitchen scraps don't go to waste but are given to the family's chickens, who in turn provide fresh eggs. The roasted carrots with sage, chickpeas, and pistachios are particularly popular and have become almost a house favorite.
A 30 kW photovoltaic system on the farm contributes to a sustainable energy supply.
Guests can book massages, use the steam sauna, or relax by the unheated outdoor pool. Yoga also blends seamlessly into the tranquil atmosphere of the house. There's plenty of space to unwind around the Corte: the grounds cover approximately twelve hectares with walking paths, abundant nature, and two small natural lakes that further enhance the special serenity of the place. Picnic baskets are also available for relaxing hours outdoors.
