The location of the Casa de la Caldera is spectacular. Located on the edge of a volcanic crater (as the name suggests), you can admire the starry sky at night while having a clear view of the lunar landscape of Lanzarote during the day.

The Casa de la Caldera is a lovingly and carefully restored finca in a rural Canarian style. During the renovation of the 250 year old house, care was taken to preserve original style elements, use local materials and at the same time offer guests modern comfort. These include the 10-meter pool belonging to the finca, spacious terraces and a well-kept garden. At the edge of the pool there is a traditional Canarian bowling alley. The interior of the house captivates with simple stone walls, original wooden ceilings and brightly painted wooden doors.

The finca is built around a central courtyard, as was customary in the past. In the course of the renovation, the current owners have divided the house into three self-contained units (El Patio, Puesta del Sol and Valle de Femes). These are rented individually, but it is also possible to rent the entire finca, which can then accommodate groups offers up to 12 people to rent. Another apartment, El Ajibe, which can accommodate two people, is on the other side of the pool. There is a large dining table in the mostly shaded courtyard for dinner, and each apartment has a small private one

The area around the finca is ideal for walking or hiking in the surrounding hills. There are a number of good restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity in the neighboring towns. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Lanzarote are only a 10-minute drive away.

All materials used are non-toxic and ecological: natural oils to maintain the wood of the ceilings and doors, and limestone to wash the thick stone walls of the building. The water is heated with solar energy, and wind energy is also used to generate energy.
