All rooms are lovingly furnished and each room has its own motto. The tea kitchen is available to all guests for free use. The tasty organic breakfast can be taken in the fireplace room, or in the ingrown garden if the weather is fine.
The operators take time for their guests and take on all of the tasks in the pension themselves. They are concerned with protecting people from harmful influences, both physically and mentally. A healthy and in harmony with nature has priority here. The catering is therefore regional, resource-saving and biodynamic.
The building biology of the pension ensures well-being: there are no radio networks, no WiFi and hardly any cell phone reception. The low-electrosmog environment ensures a peaceful sleep.
And who needs internet when they can experience the most beautiful nature here? Depending on the room, you have a clear view of the sky or the green garden or the Schwelk valley with the historic mill. From the end of April to the beginning of May, the dandelion blossom bathes the Allgäu in a sunny yellow and is unique in this form.
In general, the region around the Kirschenfee is one of the most beautiful in Bavaria. The Allgäu landscape offers countless excursion, hiking and cycling opportunities. Cities like Munich, Ulm, Memmingen are just as easy to reach from here as the Upper Bavarian Lakes and Lake Constance.

Sustainable
ArchitectureThe house was built in 1850 and was used as a car repair shop until 2000. It was acquired by the current operators in 2003 and completely renovated in terms of building biology and energy. The view of the existing building was not changed. Existing building materials were recycled and re-integrated. The furniture comes from flea markets or antique markets. The historic wooden plank floor has been restored and reinstalled. The interior of the rooms is very different. The "Luis-Trenker" room is reminiscent of a mountain hut. The "Allgäu" room invites you to sleep on an original "Holzar" sledge from Sontheim and the comfort room "Kirschenfee" shines through its size and enormous height.
FoodThe food comes from our own organic cultivation and from the region. On the plate comes what suits the season. What does not grow is not served. This also applies to the eggs. Either the chickens lay or not. Specialties are the in-house cheese sparrows, the turnip casserole with old root vegetables (white beets, parsnips, white carrots, potatoes), pumpkin soup, smoothies or nettle strudel - depending on the season.

EnvironmentThe sustainability concept has priority at the Beetz family. Furniture has been upcycled, waste is consistently separated and recycled. Heating and hot water requirements are covered by a central firewood heating system with pellet support and a 20m² solar thermal system. When treating wood and floors, only mineral oil-free products are used. The food comes from the region and its own permaculture. Rainwater is used for this.

By car
The Bio-Pension Kirschenfee is about 1 hour outside of Munich (103 km). From Stuttgart you drive almost 2 hours (160 km). You will receive the exact address and directions on booking.
With public transport
The "Kirschenfee" can be easily reached from Munich in about 2 hours by public transport. From the train station in Sontheim it is approximately 2 km to the guesthouse, which you can either walk or use the free transfer. The Stuttgart Kirschenfee guest house can also be reached in around 3 hours by train.
