Of course, without having to miss out on modern living comfort. The apartment is eighty square meters, flooded with light and very cozy. Sustainable

ArchitectureProven to be the oldest building in Laxenburg with a core dating back to the early Middle Ages. Subsequently, numerous renovations were carried out by the Habsburg emperors in all eras. The castle park with its 280 hectares of parkland and 25 hectares of pond area can be freely used by the holiday apartment guests. Guests can also visit facilities such as the forest pool within walking distance. Most of the renovation work was carried out with local staff. Otherwise, regional companies were used. The furnishings were a mix of high-quality new products and antiques such as farmer's chests or provincial baroque armchairs. Some of the furniture was made by the carpenter using wood from the castle park.

FoodThe morning breakfast basket consists of fresh and regional ingredients.

Most of the employees are from the town of Laxenburg and the surrounding area and work under fair conditions. In addition to company parties and excursions, there are also other benefits for employees such as fruit, coffee and mineral water, which they receive free of charge. Some facilities in the castle park can also be used by employees free of charge or at reduced rates. When shopping, they like to use products from workshops for the disabled. Or they support events for kindergarten groups, scouts or the volunteer fire brigade.

EnvironmentThe Laxenburg Palace Park has been sustainably maintained and preserved as a historic landscape garden for almost two hundred years - as one of the most important gardens in Austria. No drinking water is used for irrigation. There are flower meadows for the purpose of species protection and campaigns to preserve bees. There is an electric vehicle fleet, and employees travel within the palace park by bike. The company's own workshops are heated with biomass from the palace park. Of course, the waste is separated.
