The VA House, completed in May 2024, is a special example of modern architecture. The hosts are Sebastian and Claudia Büscher. He: an architect, interior designer and passionate designer. She: a real estate agent who grew up in the mountains and left her heart there. With the VA House, the two have fulfilled a long-held dream.
The VA House is impressive due to its reference to alpine building traditions with lots of wood and concrete, materials that can also be found in traditional huts. The furniture is simple and understated to harmonize with the interior. The light-flooded house radiates warmth and security through the use of wood. People come here to switch off and find peace. At the same time, the area offers many cultural experiences. The region is known for its impressive architecture. Numerous books are dedicated to the architecture of this area, and the locals are known for their openness and friendliness.

Sustainable
ArchitectureThe entire structure of the VA House consists of untreated laminated timber, while the concrete surfaces were left without surface sealing. During construction, the focus was on the essentials: wood, concrete and glass. These materials and the minimalist architecture blend harmoniously into the landscape. The VA House is an example of architecture that unobtrusively embeds itself in the environment. Much of the work was carried out by local companies, which underlines the connection to the region.
Well-BeingThe VA House offers an infrared sauna, which invites you to relax after eventful days on Lake Constance with water skiing, sailing, stand-up paddling and boating or idyllic hikes.

By car
From Bregenz it takes about 20 minutes to get to Weiler (28 km). From St Gallen it takes about 40 minutes (48 km), from Konstanz just under 1.5 hours (78 km), from Zurich it also takes just under 1.5 hours (131 km), from Innsbruck it takes just under 2.5 hours (170 km) and from Munich (215 km). With public transport
The nearest train station is in the municipality of Klaus (Vlbg). From there there is a bus connection to Weiler. The bus stop is about 500 meters from the house.
