After many journeys of their own and long discussions, Karen and Bram have realized their dream of a tree house camp. The "Treelodge" was not only planned by them, but also built by them. Sustainable criteria were top priority at every step of the journey. And, of course, that guests find relaxation and inspiration here.
All houses offer the ideal mixture of adventure, nature and comfort to feel completely at ease. There is both the possibility to sleep in a hammock under the starry sky, as well as in a cozy bed in the house. There are hot bathtubs, fresh outdoor showers or breezy forest bathing. Guests can decide individually how close to nature their adventure should be. In addition to the beautiful kitchens, you can also use the outdoor grill or the pizza oven.
The three differently sized tree houses for two to six guests are cosy and comfortable and are available in both summer and winter. Even from the outside, the houses are very different and individually designed as a hut, a house with a pointed roof or a modern cube. The ‘Zaunkönig’ not only impresses with its beautiful kitchen-living room, but also with its spacious bathtub, which is located in the pointed roof. The ‘Waldkauz’ has a more modern look both inside and out and offers space for up to 5 people. The largest house is the ‘Bussard’, which offers the most beautiful view with its several terraces.
By the way, the eponymous birds can also be heard here, depending on the season and time of day. There is something for everyone here - scouts, ornithologists and those looking for relaxation all get their money's worth here.

ArchitectureSustainability was the starting point for the project and all construction measures right from the start. When building the tree houses, mostly recycled materials were used. Since they designed and built everything themselves, every decision could be made consciously. This was important to them in order to make the character of the houses sustainable.
EnvironmentPart of the energy is generated by solar panels on the property itself, the other part is purchased green electricity. The cleaning products all carry an eco-label. After filtering, the water used is used to irrigate the garden. There are no disposable materials and the most sustainable solution for the operation is always sought.
