Tiny House

tiny.zeit

Steinberg, Baltic Sea, Germany

Large panoramic windows allow an unobstructed view of nature. Seagulls, buzzards and cranes fly by. Deer and rabbits can also often be seen. And the sky keeps changing between sunny and dramatic. Both from the terrace and through the window, you can simply enjoy the view for hours.

Since the summer of 2020, tiny.zeit has been in the countryside, near the Flensburg Fjord. The idea is to create a healthy and sustainable connection between tourism and the region. In doing so, social and ecological challenges are considered in equal measure and reconciled in the best possible way. The guests have the opportunity to experience a relaxed, natural holiday with the smallest possible ecological footprint. And if you have any questions, you can simply contact Judith, who lovingly takes care of everything.

Scandinavian design ensures a cozy atmosphere and, coupled with the high sustainability standards, also a healthy living ambience. The minimalist style and the high-quality materials ensure a pleasantly calm environment in the middle of nature.

The immediate proximity to the coast invites you to take long walks or bike rides on the Baltic Sea. The Geltinger Birk nature reserve is only 25 kilometers away. Here wild Dutch horses, called Koniks, together with Galloway cattle take care of the landscape maintenance. Here you can really use the "tiny" time out anywhere to let your soul dangle in peace.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe prototype for the house ("Kaat" model) in its exciting form was specially developed and produced by the company noordsk.studio. During construction, the young company placed particular focus on high quality and ecological sustainability. Only biologically harmless materials were used. The insulation is seaweed. The wood used comes from Denmark. Regional producers such as ceramists, stationary retailers, wood suppliers and workshops were given preference.

EnvironmentThe topic of sustainability is in the foreground of tiny.zeit. Every year, five percent of the income is donated to regional environmental projects that support organic farming, local fauna and flora, or alternative and ecological forms of housing.
