Nestled between vineyards and the shimmering waters of Lake Constance lie the Teresa Deufel holiday apartments. Upon arrival, guests are greeted either by a view across the vineyard down to the lake or into the green courtyard, where an old tree provides shade.
For eight weeks a year, this courtyard transforms into a lively tavern: Hosts Teresa and Philip pour their own wines, serve small dishes, and the place fills with voices, laughter, and life.
The house itself has a long family history. Teresa's grandparents ran a small bed and breakfast here, back then in the former stable and hayloft. In 1996, Teresa's parents renovated the property and built holiday apartments before Teresa and Philip took over in 2022 – with the intention of continuing the family business and the winery. Today, they live with their three children amidst vineyards, a lake, and old fruit trees.
The holiday apartments tell a story of this connection between tradition and modernity. No two are alike, yet a common style is evident: wooden floors, bright rooms, a mix of antique furniture and modern designs. Sometimes small and cozy, sometimes light and minimalist – always with a view of what characterizes the region: vineyards, apple orchards, and, in the distance, the mountains of Vorarlberg.
From April to August, the courtyard becomes a meeting place for everyone attending the "Come & See" wine festival and other events. A place where guests not only stay overnight, but also share a piece of Lake Constance life.

Teresa's parents renovated the property with local craftspeople, showing great respect for what already existed. Their goal was to preserve the original character while making the most of it.
The Rädlewirtschaft offers regional organic products from neighboring farms, complemented by locally sourced organic food items not produced on-site. Wine and fruit come directly from their own estate. The Rädlewirtschaft is not open year-round, but is usually open in May and June, and sometimes again in August, transforming the farm into a lively meeting place during this time.
As an organic farm specializing in wine and fruit cultivation, the hosts are particularly committed to respecting nature and resources. Electricity comes from their own photovoltaic system, and heating is provided by environmentally friendly wood pellets. Waste separation is as much a matter of course here as the use of organic cleaning products that keep the house and grounds clean without harming the environment. A conscious approach is also taken in the guest areas: towels are changed every three days – a small contribution that helps save water and energy without sacrificing comfort.
