In the heart of beautiful Carinthia lies a very special retreat – the Rosa und Blau am See. Surrounded by a spacious garden, meadows, forests, and lakes, this place invites you to relax and explore.
Hosts Ilona and Gerhard Filzwieser have lovingly renovated the old rectory, dating back to 1820, and creatively created an inspiring blend of historic walls and a colorful interior. A nostalgic typewriter, a retro record player, original lamps, and plenty of art on the colorfully decorated walls add a charming contrast to the lush greenery. The beautiful garden, with its small living room-greenhouse, offers ample space for reading, playing games, or stargazing. A small 16th-century church and the former school, now used as a studio, complete the ensemble.
The living area is designed for 8-10 guests—ideal for a group of friends or a large family. The ground floor houses the communal areas, including the high-quality kitchen, the dining room, and a small bedroom. The upper floor features three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with an integrated sauna. The loft-like attic can also be used for additional living space.
The hosts' energy is contagious – as is the special atmosphere of this house, which was once built on a Celtic power spot. It's no wonder, then, that new ideas are constantly being generated here. In themed workshops and co-creation events, Ilona and Gerhard invite guests to develop new impulses and creative processes. This makes your stay a thoroughly enriching experience.
