A "Quinta" is an old farmhouse and this one is over 150 years old. Kristin and Tobias have been the hosts of this charming bed and breakfast in the Algarve since 2021. The two emigrated to Portugal in 2020 and found this beautiful place for their guests and lovingly renovated it. There is really everything you need for a relaxing holiday here - lots of nature and tranquility, tasteful outdoor areas, beautiful rooms, nice company, good food and a wonderful pool.
The eight rooms are stylishly furnished - old wooden beams, fresh natural colors and new bathrooms with traditional tiles from the region ensure a harmonious look. The names and colors of the rooms are based on native plants such as almond and lemon trees. The partially exposed red stone walls are evidence of the original construction. The high ceilings provide plenty of light ("Luz") and airiness. All rooms have their own exit with a terrace leading to the large garden. Here it blooms, hums and buzzes everywhere. There are orange trees, palm trees, fruit trees, wildflowers and lots of sky as far as the eye can see. The large pool and the driving range also leave nothing to be desired in terms of sport.
From a delicious homemade breakfast to light meals during the day and cool drinks in the evening, you are well looked after here around the clock. If you then want to explore the area, you will be amazed by the beautiful beaches and small towns in the area and will still be happy to return to this oasis of peace. Because the warmth of the hosts makes this place something very special.

ArchitectureHigh-quality and durable materials were used during the conversion, most of the furniture comes from Portugal and is made of solid wood.
FoodThe breakfast mainly consists of homemade products such as bread, jam - particularly popular, the one made from the lemons growing in the garden - and egg dishes with eggs from our own chickens. At lunchtime you can order salads made from fresh ingredients. In order to avoid food waste, breakfast is served individually and all wishes of the guests are taken into account. The grown fruit such as oranges, lemons, pomegranates, peaches, figs and plums is of organic quality. In summer there is a delicious BBQ for the guests once a week.
EnvironmentThe owners have taken some measures to save water and electricity and to use resources sparingly. There is a photovoltaic system with battery storage. A large proportion of the required electricity is produced in-house. The hot water is generated by solar panels. The garbage is separated or edible food is fed to the chickens. There is an activated carbon water filter in the kitchen, so there is no need to buy water from plastic bottles. The cleaning staff are trained to use cleaning agents and water sparingly. And guests are encouraged to use the air conditioning judiciously and recycle pool towels. The garden is watered as sparingly as possible and quite frugal plants have been created. The care products are from a Portuguese natural cosmetics company.
