The building dates from the 18th century and is located right in the historical center of the island's capital, Maó. Menorca is the easternmost of the Balearic Islands - a beautiful peaceful island that has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. The Petit Maó is the ideal domicile to explore the island, which is strongly influenced by the English. The neighborhood of the hotel has a lot of history on the one hand and the most modern restaurants with a view of the harbor on the other.

The Petit Maó is not only a place of wellbeing, but also a source of inspiration. This is made possible by the simple rooms, whose rather minimalist style leaves room for your own thoughts and arouses creativity through occasional eye-pleasing. Individual pieces of furniture, lovingly draped plants, beautiful carpets and lots of natural materials ensure relaxed living. However, there are no televisions. Less is more is the motto here.

However, this does not apply to breakfast. The first meal of the day consists of all sorts of delicious organic ingredients and is served on the terrace with a view of the green courtyard.

There are deckchairs to relax in, and to cool off you can hop into the turquoise water of the pool. In this green oasis it is wonderful to chat with other guests over a glass of wine about the day's experiences.
