PALAZZO SAETTA

Nardò (Lecce), Puglia, Italy

In the heart of Nardò's historic center, on a small square, lies the beautiful Palazzo Saetta. Those who open the windows here in the morning are greeted by a view of the blue sky, the surrounding light-colored facades, and orange and lemon trees.

The house itself tells stories spanning several centuries and has been lovingly restored by its current owners. The place has been brought back to life with dedication, preserving its original character while complementing it with a stylish blend of antique furniture, modern elements, and exquisitely curated finds from around the world. Each room has its own color scheme, perfectly coordinated with the ornate vaulted ceilings. The palazzo offers six individually designed rooms, each with its own bathroom, veranda or patio, and facilities for preparing hot drinks. Two rooms also feature kitchens. A beautiful garden with a refreshing pool provides the perfect retreat for balmy summer evenings or a relaxing lunch break.

Those who wish can also practice yoga in the garden, book a massage, or arrange a private cooking class. Additionally, there are opportunities for cycling tours through the nearby olive groves and boat trips to the bays of the Ionian coast. The Porto Selvaggio nature reserve, with its clear waters and rugged coastal landscapes, is particularly impressive. Palazzo Saetta is not a hotel, but a place meant to be shared – tranquil, authentic, and full of Italian soul.
