A completely different kind of holiday can be made in the hinterland of Lausanne. Far from everyday life and the big city, three tree houses and a caravan are hidden here near a rushing stream.
After many years in large companies and some of them abroad, the Goumoëns family decided to get back to the basics. They wanted to spend more time together, spend more time outdoors and with animals. Building tree houses has always been the family's dream that they have now realized. To the delight of all guests.
The four accommodations were named after the children of the hosts Marie and Renaud de Goumoëns. Each accommodation has its own flair: in the Camille hut there is furniture and art from Asia, the Mathis tree house is decorated with dream catchers and fur blankets. Anyone who lives in the Alanis tree house can watch the chickens and horses graze from above. Another eye-catcher is the construction trailer, which was designed by interior designer Jorge Cañute. All houses are insulated and can be heated. So it is also good and comfortable to live there in winter, even with small children.
The start of the day in the middle of nature begins with a delicious taste: in the morning a breakfast basket is delivered to the house, with fresh bread, homemade jams, seasonal fruits, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt, muesli. The tree house residents pull the richly filled basket by pulley. If desired, this can also be filled with a hearty picnic later in the day.
A summer learning course leads through the forest and teaches interesting things about the local flora and fauna. In this way, guests get to know birds, trees, fruits and fish. You can also visit beekeeping and farm animals or ride ponies on the premises. In addition to the experience of pure nature, you can enjoy a massage or dream in the jacuzzi under the trees.
The environment promotes creativity and offers the necessary calm to pursue new approaches - whether private or professional.
