La Grange Neuve is an enchanting Brittany property that embodies the charm and history of Marie-Pierre's family in every corner.
Immediately upon opening the shutters, guests are greeted by a breathtaking view: the garden in the foreground, then cliffs, and finally the sea, just 400 meters away. On clear days, even the striking Pointe de Penhir and Pointe du Raz are visible in the distance.
The history of La Grange Neuve dates back to the time of Marie-Pierre's family. In 2017, with her husband, Dominique, she lovingly restored the property to preserve its authenticity. Marie-Pierre and Dominique opened their house La Grange to guests in 2019. In 2023, the experience was expanded with the addition of Le Jardin de l'Écurie.
The atmosphere inside La Grange is extraordinary. The breathable lime and stone walls create a unique feel-good atmosphere. The authentic architecture and rich history of the house are palpable, while the outdoor areas delight with their charm and wealth of detail. Of course, the warm hospitality cultivated here also contributes significantly to an unforgettable stay.
The interior of both houses combines authenticity, comfort, and sustainability. Many pieces of furniture are vintage or upcycled, while the beds, sofas, and armchairs are new to ensure the highest level of comfort. High-quality French linens ensure elegance and well-being. The soft, natural tones reflect the surroundings and create a calm, harmonious atmosphere.

ArchitectureLa Grange Neuve harmoniously combines tradition and sustainability. The breathable lime and stone walls preserve the house's historical heritage while ensuring a pleasant indoor climate. During the renovations, a conscious focus was placed on environmentally friendly materials, and many original structures were retained. Sustainability was also taken into account in the outdoor areas: Native plants that require no additional irrigation were chosen to conserve resources and promote biodiversity. Upcycled and vintage furniture underscore the commitment to environmental protection. Local and regional materials were predominantly used in the renovation. The terracotta tiles for the floors come from the village of Les Rairies in Maine et Loire, and the wood and lime were also sourced exclusively from France.
EnvironmentTo minimize packaging waste, the hosts offer organic and loose products such as rice, pasta, and tea. For cleaning, they rely on homemade or organic cleaning products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. The hosts encourage their guests to save energy and water by placing visible reminders. La Grange Neuve also works closely with Eaux et Rivières de Bretagne (Eaux and Rivières of Bretagne), an environmental organization, and provides financial support for this project.
