Il Borgo del Balsamico is located in a green paradise: trees as far as the eye can see, as well as the historic villa, the charming country house and a small adjacent forest.
Here in Emilia Romagna, hospitality is very important – because hosts and sisters Cristina and Silvia Crotti live in the house themselves and share their passion for nature, tradition and good food with their guests.
The history of the house dates back to the 18th century. It has been family-owned and maintained with great passion since 1970. The eight rooms and the apartment are individually designed—each tells its own story and has its own name: from the sisters' childhood memories to their father's passion for fashion (he ran a fashion company). Everything is stylish and a successful mix of vintage style and modern elements.
A special highlight is the in-house Acetaia: Here, traditional balsamic vinegar is produced – also a legacy from the father and a true delicacy that guests can experience during tours and tastings.
Those seeking peace and quiet will find it by the pool or on walks. Those seeking activity can go hiking, biking, or taking culinary tours. A stay is more than just a vacation—it's an immersion into a world full of stories and flavors.
