The Hotel Fletzinger is located in the historic old town of Wasserburg. Thanks to the construction and furnishings, it exudes a special charm that reflects the history of the city and the life of the residents. Guests can come here to rest and find relaxation.
In the 19th and 20th centuries, the house itself was a beer brewery, inn and post office, among other things. Over the years it was converted into a hotel, and in 2013 the Steinbacher family of restaurateurs bought it. Since then, Anna Steinbacher has managed the hotel successfully and with a lot of passion.
Hotel Fletzinger is a place where you feel at home. Here the special needs of each guest are addressed - from small talk with holiday guests to the quick processing of tasks for business guests. The hotel is cozy and offers space to settle in and take a deep breath.
The rooms are designed differently. Part was renovated in January 2023 and furnished in a modern style, other rooms are kept in a more historical style, such as the gentleman's room or the Sisi room. These are reminiscent of the furnishings of the past centuries and you can mentally travel back to this time.
Due to its location in the historic old town of Wasserburg, all of the city's sights can be easily reached on foot in the immediate vicinity. There are also many lakes in the vicinity and, especially in the summer months, numerous events regularly take place in Wasserburg, such as the spring festival, the wine festival, the night flea market or the national festival.

ArchitectureThe hotel is a historic old town building. The interior is bright and flooded with light and underlines the lightness that the building radiates. During the renovation, great importance was attached to working with regional construction companies.
FoodRegionality plays a major role in the food. Fish from our own breeding are sold again and again. Food waste is disposed of by a specialist company. The hotel's chef makes various products herself, such as the "Quinoa-Amaranth-Crunch", the "Crispbread" or the popular "Cantuccini".
The hotel mostly employs people from the region. Special offers for these are, for example, a shopping voucher at a local REWE once a month. In addition, every employee is allowed to spend one night in the hotel once every six months in order to get to know the hotel in a different way and to be able to better empathize with the life of a guest. If the company is recommended and the following employment is made, each employee will receive a one-time bonus of 50 euros.
EnvironmentThe cleaning agent consumption is checked quarterly and reduced to the necessary minimum. A refill system is also used, as well as some steam systems and alternative/environmentally friendly cleaning agents. The "Plant a Tree" project is currently a topic in the hotel and the owners are working on its implementation. In addition, the hosts are constantly looking for measures to support the climate. Communication also plays an important role in a sustainable approach in the hotel - for example through the selection of breakfast options, which means that less food is thrown away.
Well-BeingHotel Fletzinger offers yoga courses several times a week. These are led by external yoga teachers.
