The Horn Rückerl family created their idyllic retreat in 2000, making their dream come true. They share their home surrounded by 30,000 square meters of nature in beautiful and undiscovered Lower Bavaria with their guests and provide them with fabulous spaces for relaxation.
Every house and every room on the farm is designed differently - timeless with lots of wood and warm fabrics. Each of the rooms is large and flooded with light and the large glass fronts create a great transition between inside and outside. Here everyone can retreat and relax in their own way.

Sustainable
ArchitectureThe Horn Rückerl family works exclusively with craftsmen from the region. The houses are made of timber frame construction and larch. The interior is made of oak, beech and spruce wood.
FoodThe hosts ensure short delivery routes, support regional organic farmers and thus care about the common good of the facilities - such as a children's home. Cooking follows the Eurotoque chefs’ code of honor – regional and seasonal. Food waste is avoided through specific orders, and there are chickens for food waste.
The accommodation employs working students, mothers and part-time workers. Annual further training is also offered for employees. They can also charge their e-bikes and e-cars free of charge at the Hofgut. There is also a daily lunch together as well as an annual invitation for parents to eat and stay overnight as well as staff parties.
EnvironmentCooking is exclusively made to order. The Hafnerleiten farm also generates its own electricity. There is also a deep well, e-charging stations for cars, waste separation, alternative cleaning products (vinegar essence, lemon) and an e-bike station.
Well-BeingMassages and peelings are offered at Hofgut Hafnerleiten. Guests also have access to a Finnish sauna on the LAKE and a natural pond.

Es ist der perfekte Ort für Zweisamkeit, für Zeit zum Nachdenken, sich aus dem Alltag rausnehmen oder einfach für intensive Projekte, die ohne Ablenkung endlich einen Abschluss finden müssen.
Sieht aus wie die Kulisse eines Romans von Håkan Nesser, ist aber Niederbayern. Bad Birnbach, genauer gesagt. Im Seehaus kann man sich Frühstück ans Bett oder Prosecco an den Steg bringen lassen. Abendessen gibt es im Haupthaus des Hofguts, Massagen gleich auf der anderen Seite des Sees. Der Bademantel ist im Preis inbegriffen. Nur schwimmen müssen Sie selbst.

By car
From Munich it takes just under 2 hours to drive to Hofgut Hafnerleiten (148 km). From Nuremberg it takes a good 2.5 hours (227 km), from Stuttgart it takes about 4 hours (359 km) and from Salzburg it takes a good 1.5 hours (104 km). The exact address can be found on the website.
With public transport
There is a train station in Bad Birnbach, which is about 8 km from the Hofgut.
