The architecture of the house is as extraordinary as it is impressive. A fascinating mix of Art Nouveau and American Southern architecture, evident from the south porch, makes the building a unique gem in this region. Only regional craft businesses contributed their skills throughout the entire renovation process. The use of materials from the region was particularly important to Hans and Ulrike. Wherever possible, materials were recycled and reused - be it the doors, the stones or other elements.

The construction follows the principles of sustainability and ecology, while the accommodation is easily accessible by public transport.
