This is what the Garden of Eden looks like - in the middle of a beautiful pineapple plantation in Ponta Delgada on the Azores you can sip pineapple wine while sitting in a whirlpool. But of course there are also lush oranges, pineapples, lemons, limes, strawberries, tangerines, bananas and much more on this farm - simply paradise.

The main building is around 100 years old and is part of an active pineapple plantation. The farm has always been family-owned and has been a hotel since 2018. My grandfather worked in the first hotels in the Azores. The main goal of the renovation was to preserve the soul of the house for guests while reusing all existing materials. The buildings are painted in the island's typical pink and have been complemented by a modern, glass extension. The restaurant uses the knowledge and flavors of the Azores and creates a very pleasant atmosphere thanks to the uncomplicated service.

The eight rooms are of different sizes and are all bright, cozy and very charmingly furnished. A mix of retro chic, modern art and local elements such as beautiful Portuguese floor tiles and of course pineapple prints on cushions and bed linen. The suites' large terraces with wooden loungers invite you to sunbathe.

The entire area is very well maintained and (almost) all of the guests' wishes are met. The staff and hosts obviously enjoy being in this magical place just as much as their guests.
