An idyllic village in a sunny valley in the Bregenzerwald, surrounded by pine forests, mountains, meadows and moors. Here you will find the Halwina Hideaway on the outskirts of the panoramic village of Sibratsfäll with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
Edith and her husband Peter, with the support of Edith's father, have built a house based on the model of their grandparents' farm and turned it into a wonderful place for guests. A modern homage to the traditional Bregenz houses. The valuable traditions - and Edith's childhood memories - are kept alive while at the same time welcoming new things.
The two apartments Hanna and Alwin - named after the grandparents - have been transformed into stylish oases of peace with high-quality materials and great attention to detail. Fragrant wood paneling, soft textiles and solid stones ensure a modern look. A stove - heated with wood from the property's own forest - provides cozy warmth in winter and the panoramic view is a delight all year round. With a sauna and a small fitness room, up to nine people can relax together in the Hanna apartment.
Both apartments have a large and sociable kitchen for cooking together. A delicious regional breakfast is offered, as are traditional cheese spaetzle. Just arrive and be there. With friends, the whole family, or just the two of you.

ArchitectureThe Bregenzerwald is considered a pioneer in timber construction in architecture, which also has historical reasons. Craftsmanship is very important and of high quality here. The typical external facade of the region is made of shingles that are attached individually. The wood and the craftsmen naturally come from the region.
FoodBreakfast consists of regional and organic products (from local farmers and the local baker). Some products from local producers such as delicious pasta, sauces and drinks are available for guests to purchase.
EnvironmentThe house is energy self-sufficient. A pellet heating system with pellets from our own production provides cozy warmth. The wood for the tiled stove also comes from our own forest. There is a photovoltaic system with batteries for all electricity consumption. Guests can charge their cars free of charge. Disposable items and plastic waste are largely avoided. Regional products are intended to guarantee added value in the region.
Well-BeingIn addition to the sauna and fitness room, it is possible to book massages.
Imagine a place full of tranquility, nestled between fir trees and mountains. Which invites you as a family to forget the time and enjoy together. The HALWINA Hideaway is exactly such a favorite place in the Bregenzerwald. Just the view out of the window into the big wide mountain world is the contrast program for all city people.
