The Haidhof Manor House is a historic gem dating back to 1780, nestled in the tranquil nature of West Rügen.
Surrounded by ancient trees and the sound of birdsong—in spring and autumn even accompanied by the trumpeting of cranes—the manor house offers a very special atmosphere with a palpable soul. Since 2002, the house has been owned by the hostess, Ulrike Andreesen, who has sustainably renovated and lovingly restored it.
The "Farm instead of Retirement Home" project is currently being developed at the manor house: A lively flock of chickens provides guests with fresh eggs daily, and home-grown young vegetables round out the offerings. This project combines the house's tradition with a modern and sustainable approach.
The holiday apartment in the manor house extends over 100 square meters and offers four rooms, including three cozy bedrooms with wooden beds and ample storage space. The furnishings are simple, colorful, and inviting. Bright, light-filled rooms and a beautiful view of the manor house garden create a pleasant living ambiance.
But there is also much to discover outside the historic walls: West Rügen is considered the quiet side of the island – here guests will find the perfect environment to unwind and enjoy nature to the fullest.

The manor house is insulated with Isoflock insulation and efficiently heated by a heat pump. The garden remains natural, providing a natural habitat for numerous animals. One area is separated by the chickens and is part of the lively garden. During the renovation, we deliberately worked with only regional craftsmen.
For 20 years, a heat pump has provided environmentally friendly heat, and a small biological wastewater treatment plant handles wastewater gently. Only energy-saving LED bulbs are used throughout the apartment, and cleaning is done using sustainable cleaning products without harmful additives. Toilet paper and kitchen rolls are recycled, and waste is carefully separated. To make it easier for guests to find their way around, they receive an "Ecological Guide" explaining how to properly separate waste and how the biological wastewater treatment plant works.
