ArchitectureThe barn is 200 years old and the original architecture was preserved during the renovation. The original roof construction and the wooden beams were biologically steamed, sandblasted and reinstalled. The conversion took place exclusively in cooperation with local companies. All apartments are furnished differently, but all built in loft style. The furnishings partly consist of finds from international auction houses and have been put together with a lot of love, according to the hosts' own way of life. Art and seating objects, decorative elements and many books - they are all things that have been collected over many years, including classics by Ray & Charles Eames and Jean Prouvé from the 1930s.

EnvironmentSustainability is taken into account holistically, from energy generation using a combined heat and power plant, waste separation, environmentally friendly cleaning agents, vegan cosmetics in the apartments to organic coffee and tea. Attention is paid to short distances, all employees, including room fairies, live on site. And in the garden there are numerous bee-friendly plants. The bed linen and towels are cleaned in an organic laundry.
