Fajn TAJM

Černá Voda, Olomouc, Czechia

When the sun rises behind the Czech mountains and the chirping of birds can be heard, then the day at Fajn TAJM begins. The house, which looks back on a long history, has been open to guests since 2022. The place around the accommodation immediately captivates visitors with its picturesque, gently undulating landscape full of meadows and deciduous forests. The sparsely populated part of the village offers space to relax and switch off from the otherwise hectic world.

Fajn TAJM is a place for individual meditation and a shared meeting place for relaxation, creativity, self-discovery and friendly conversations about life. The architects from MIO Architects helped with the interior design of the property. The building is designed in a boutique style, where old elements are complemented by modern ones. In the rooms and in the common room there are paintings by the painter Leszek Blysczynski from London. The rooms are built in such a way that guests can feel the atmosphere of nature, but at the same time the comfort of modern equipment. The same goes for the other parts of the house.

The atmosphere is cozy, the rooms are flooded with light, yet pleasantly cool and offer plenty of space to relax. The lower areas - kitchen, hallway and common room - are large and airy with lots of windows. The rooms are also bright, but smaller and cosy. Traditional elements of a country house meet fine and modern details.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe entire concept of the house is based on the reuse of existing materials. Floors, ceilings, beds, the tables under the sinks and other wooden elements are made from the original floors and ceilings of the house. The stairs have been edited and are original. The old materials are complemented with modern elements. Local raw materials such as stones and gravel were used for this. The hosts take great care not to use plastics and non-sustainable materials – for example, the roof is made of slate and the attic insulation is made of hemp.

Fajn TAJM has been a silver partner of Rychlebské stezek since this year. It thus contributes to trail management, employee remuneration and the associated activities.

EnvironmentThe property has solar panels, a heat pump for hot water and heating, waste is separated, the rooms have linen bed linen and Nobilis Tilia natural cosmetics, and root cleaners are used in the garden.

Well-BeingThe wellness area of the accommodation is accessible to both house guests and external guests (on request). There is a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a whirlpool, a cooling pool and relaxation areas with a view of nature. Yoga weekends are also offered regularly.
