Glamping

ecoVita

San Vito, Sardinia, Italy

ecoVita is first and foremost a natural garden that preserves local flora and fauna and harmonizes with agricultural activities based on permaculture.

The farmhouse and the glamping tents are immersed in this environment and offer guests sharing and personal well-being in harmony with the environment and the discovery of Sarrabus and southern Sardinia.

EcoVita was born from a dream of sustainable agriculture and tourist hospitality. The hosts, Italian Luca and British Lorna, bought the property in 2020. After setting up the agricultural activity, they started glamping in 2022 and have now opened their rooms. Together with their employee Gioele, they now run ecoVita.

The Sarrabus region is rich in natural and cultural attractions, yet untouched by mass tourism. At the same time, the accommodation is close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. The style of ecoVita is artisanal, with typical Sardinian or homemade furniture that creates a cozy atmosphere.

Sustainable

ArchitectureHere, too, sustainability is the basis of all decisions and the hosts use natural materials wherever possible. In addition, all the furniture in the glamping tents is homemade.

FoodThe food is almost entirely organic, although not always certified, and much of it is home-grown or produced. Meat is generally not on the menu. Vegetable scraps are either given to the chickens or composted. The hosts offer homemade bread made from locally grown low-gluten Capelli wheat, homemade ravioli with home-grown onions and potatoes, locally grown rice with home-grown vegetables, fried fish from local catches, and homemade cakes and pies. Even the pizza is homemade and made with fresh ingredients.

EnvironmentAll activities are geared towards sustainability and permaculture. All water comes from the property's own well and the property has an integrated water management system. Electricity is obtained from certified renewable sources and the hosts are in the process of installing solar panels to cover all consumption. Only biological agents with active microorganisms and soaps are used for cleaning.

Well-BeingIn the organic bathing lake you can refresh yourself naturally without coming into contact with any chemicals. Qi Gong, yoga and similar activities can be organized on request.
