In the middle of the Dolomites in beautiful South Tyrol, on a sunny hill, surrounded by lush greenery, lies a very special place.
The Dietrichhof - a bsunders Platzl - is an idyllic refuge that authentically combines tradition and sustainability. Szilvia and Reinhard Rauter took over the farm from Reinhard's parents in 2010 and have been running it in an ecological way ever since. Since 2019, it has been possible to stay overnight in the four newly built guest pavilions, which are made from local and natural materials such as wood, straw, lime and clay.
The accommodations, named after the elements earth, fire, water and air, are minimalist and cozy at the same time. The pavilions have their own kitchens and offer a quiet retreat. The round shape of the pavilions and the materials used make you feel like you are in a cocoon. The large windows let in a lot of light and at the same time offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature.
Every morning at the Dietrichhof begins with a view of the majestic Geisler peaks of the Dolomites. Guests can also look forward to a breakfast every morning with mainly home-made products, including freshly fragrant bread from the village bakery. The large panoramic terrace is the meeting point for all guests. Here you can simply marvel and enjoy at any time of the day.
For those seeking relaxation, the farm offers a variety of relaxation methods such as massages, sauna and Qigong, while adventurous guests can set off on hikes or bike tours directly from the farm. The pleasant peace, the warm hospitality and the exceptional proximity to nature make this place a special place.

ArchitectureNatural and regional materials were used in the construction of the guest pavilions. The courtyard was designed using ecological building principles, which protects both the health of the guests and the environment. The house is certified as a climate house ("A Nature").
FoodThe majority of the food is produced on the farm or sourced from regional suppliers. This supports the local economy and reduces the carbon footprint associated with transporting food.
EnvironmentA number of environmental protection measures are implemented at Dietrichhof that reflect the commitment to sustainability and the protection of natural resources. The farm uses a wood chip system to generate energy, which is a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. In addition, energy-saving light bulbs are used to minimize electricity consumption. Water-saving shower heads are installed to reduce water consumption. Only environmentally friendly products are used for cleaning. A comprehensive waste separation system is implemented on the farm, which promotes the recycling of materials and reduces waste that ends up in landfills.
Well-BeingThe Finnish sauna hut with infrared cabin, pine sauna and cozy relaxation room offers beautiful mountain views.
