Das Habitat

Leutasch, Tyrol, Austria

"The habitat - living space. Holiday flat. Yoga." is located at an altitude of 1200 metres in the beautiful village of Leutasch in Tyrol, surrounded by magnificent nature, high mountains and rushing waters. The former farm, which has been family-owned for generations, has always been changing.

Lukas Stocker's grandparents and parents used to receive guests here. He and his wife Lisa have been welcoming guests since 2014 and had previously renovated the house ecologically. Lukas planned and installed most of the furniture himself. As a trained carpenter, he naturally likes to work around the house.

The four guest apartments are tastefully furnished in different colors (pink, green, blue, yellow). Colorful details can be found in all apartments, the rooms are spacious and radiate a relaxed atmosphere. With natural materials and lots of wood, the interior design ensures cosiness. In the well-equipped kitchens you can look after yourself and cook together in a relaxed manner. The local baker delivers fresh bread (almost) every day on request. In addition, you can even have the fridge filled before you arrive - for the perfect start to your holiday.

The huge range of sports and leisure activities in the area includes skiing and cross-country skiing in winter, and in summer you can hike, swim, cycle, climb, do Nordic walking or yoga. Hostess Lisa is a qualified yoga teacher and breathing trainer. There is really everything here for a nice and relaxing holiday with friends and/or family.

Sustainable

ArchitectureDuring the conversion, local craftsmen were friends and local materials were used as far as possible. Most of the furniture was designed and built by the host himself.

FoodA local baker delivers bread, butter and milk to order. The leftovers are composted for two years and then used as potting soil for the raised beds.

EnvironmentThe house has a photovoltaic system and only environmentally friendly cleaning agents and detergents are used. With water-saving shower heads, water is saved and towels are only exchanged upon guest request. The longevity of the equipment, such as cooking pots and parasols, is the decisive purchase criterion. New trees and bee-friendly flowers are planted each year to provide important habitat for insects. The hosts are part of the Tyrolean Climate Alliance and, as honorary supervisory board members of the Seefeld tourism region, actively promote sustainability and environmental protection in the region. A large collection of books about nature, environmental protection and mindfulness is available for children and adults in the public area.

Well-BeingHostess Lisa regularly offers yoga classes. Individual training is also possible. There will soon be a yoga room in the former hayloft and further wellness offers such as shiatsu massages are planned from 2025.
