Corte Campioli

Terre Roveresche, Marche, Italy

The Corte Campioli is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and the beautiful Marchegian hills. The breathtaking landscape and the country estate opened in 2015 ensure a special kind of relaxation and wellbeing.

The house is over 150 years old and today offers a successful mix of Italian originality of an old rural country estate as well as modern furnishings, style and technical equipment. The country house used to be a farm, cows were housed on the ground floor, the peasant family lived on the upper floor. After the house was left in 1995, the Blumrath couple were able to buy it in 2012 and implement their very own idea of a special B&B.

Inside the country house, the puristic combination of old and new was deliberately chosen in every room. Modern classics meet vintage furniture and create a harmony in which guests can feel comfortable. Natural tones serve as a canvas for staged color highlights. The furniture was collected for years parallel to the project and put together according to consistency. The seven units are large and flooded with light and each offer a view of the surroundings, beautiful Italian villages and the hilly landscape of the Marche.

The historic hay shelter "Il Fienile" opposite the main house offers, after a loving restoration, a cozy lounge for relaxing moments: alone, in pairs or in a sociable group. The Corte Bar with a covered terrace invites you to have a coffee or enjoy a fine wine.

Sustainable

ArchitectureB&B Corte Campioli merges the landscape and the surroundings by trying to maintain the original character of the agricultural property. There is also modern architecture and timeless design. The old Italian farmhouse is typical of the province of Marche and invites you to a cozy stay. The renovation was carried out exclusively by local craftsmen. Particular attention was paid to reconstructing old craft where possible and thus maintaining it. In order to focus on historical elements, some white, neutralizing surfaces were used.

FoodBreakfast is a seasonal mix of the in-house fruit and vegetable garden. From apple to plum tree - there is a large selection. The offer is rounded off with homemade bread and cakes, specialties from eggs from neighboring farms, jams and Marchegian honey. In addition, dinner is prepared on two or three evenings, as agreed and requested by the guests: homemade pasta, fresh fish caught on the same day, regional meat from local farmers and regional cheese. Vegetarian and vegan dishes can also be served on request. In order to feel the flair of Bella Italy holistically, regional wines are offered with the meal. On warm days you can grill in the courtyard or use the summer kitchen.

The employees are seasonal workers within the framework of the legal requirements. The fluctuation is low, almost all employees have been with the hotel since the start, which is why returning guests are happy to meet familiar faces. The employees are involved in changes and processes and are also supported in their private environment, for example through subsidies for school meals for children. It has also happened that a car has been bought so that an employee can come to work.

EnvironmentThe Hotel Corte Campioli tries to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint and therefore deliberately talks to guests and domestic workers. Starting with the insulation of the house, photovoltaic and solar thermal, up to the avoidance of plastic, the use of reusable glass bottles, waste separation or the serving of regional products in the kitchen with subsequent composting. The garden irrigation uses rainwater reservoirs and the Corte Campioli has a salt water pool that uses chlorine to produce chlorine. Guests also receive detailed instruction on the use of the latest air conditioning technology in order to keep energy consumption as low as possible. In addition, guests can use mineral water bottles made of glass at no cost to avoid plastic waste.
