Cirna

Naturns, South Tyrol, Italy

The Cirna Lodges invite you to relax, have time for yourself and, if desired, to take advantage of an unobtrusive service that is geared to your own needs. The solid wood houses were built by the Linter family in 2018/2019 around a chemical-free biopool and have been available for rent since April 2019.

The family was able to fulfill a dream with this ensemble, which was ideally integrated into the historical angers situation. Next to the Cirna is an apartment house that is also run by the Linters. The family's vision is to offer guests a place to relax, far away from mass tourism, to regain strength. Particular attention is paid to privacy.

The bright, spacious rooms give a view of Juval Castle, the Naturnser Sonnenberg and the Nörderberg through the partly large window fronts. Nature surrounds the lodges, but also determines the interior space concept: The natural wood and the ceilings made of clay building boards create a soothing, warm atmosphere, while the timelessly elegant style meets custom-made furniture. Oak parquet and loden as well as the subtle, natural colors give expression to the desire to combine style and comfort.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe buildings were constructed in solid wood, whereby a patented plug-in system made it possible to dispense with glue completely and to reduce metal connections as much as possible. The wood used (mainly spruce and oak inside, larch outside) is untreated and ensures a pleasant indoor climate. General contractor, architect and interior designer as well as the producer of the solid wood houses are located in the Vinschgau. The construction of the lodges, the construction of the pool and the design of the garden were carried out by a South Tyrolean company. The use of natural and natural materials (wood, clay) played an important role. Local trees have been planted in the garden, the biopool is cleaned using the HighFlow Kies fi lter system and is only used seasonally.

FoodHealthy eating is very important at Cirna. It starts with the welcome drink - mostly homemade juices and syrup - which is served to the guests. In the breakfast basket that can be booked there are largely typical, regional, seasonal products from local cultivation. The Cirna itself does not offer any restaurant except breakfast. In each apartment, guests can take care of themselves in a fully equipped kitchen. Upon arrival, the fridge will be handed over to guests upon request and for a fee. The Cirna website also recommends nearby restaurants and cafés.

EnvironmentSustainability plays a major role, the three lodges are "KlimaHaus Nature" and "KlimaHaus Welcome" certified, whereby in addition to energy efficiency, the environmental compatibility of the materials and water management, the quality of the indoor air and sound insulation are also decisive for certification. Waste separation naturally takes place, and guests are also encouraged to do so.
