Casa Langa di Lola is located in the middle of green hills and an enchanting landscape of natural forest, hazelnut bushes and vines. On clear days, the view opens up to the majestic French Alps and a picturesque village church.
This place invites you to slow down and relax, surrounded by silence and beautiful nature. Here guests can breathe fresh air and admire the clear starry sky on cloudless evenings and nights. The accommodation is secluded from noise and stress, but at the same time well connected to the region's charming villages, the historic town of Alba and the famous wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco. Piedmont reveals itself here as a true culinary paradise, rich in delicious wines and dishes.
Host and proud owner Laura (Lola) finds great joy in seeing her guests feel completely at home. In 2019 she purchased the renovated, typical Piedmontese country house from a Swiss family and proudly opened the doors of Casa Langa di Lola in 2020. The charm of the accommodation lies primarily in its location - the peace, quiet and the wide views of the surrounding nature enchanted Laura from the start.
The southern orientation of the long house gives all rooms and apartments a breathtaking view of the beautiful surroundings, be it from their own balcony or from the garden. Each of the three units is designed absolutely individually: the light-flooded double room "Dolcetto" in a graceful blue trend, the smaller, airy and bright apartment "Barbera" with a preference for green. The studio apartment "Nebbiolo" impresses with a wood-paneled, high ceiling, a tiled stove and a selection of furniture that includes antique pieces made of dark wood.

ArchitectureThe house is an authentic country house and its design is designed to be energy efficient. The complete southern orientation of the front provides maximum hours of sunshine and warmth. The almost one meter thick outer walls store both cool temperatures and heat, which saves energy. The house is almost 600 meters above sea level, so no air conditioning is needed even in hot summers. The renovation work was carried out exclusively by local craftsmen. The floors are either local wood or terracotta tiles. One of the terraces was built with local field stones.
FoodAs a Casa Vacanza and Bed & Breakfast, Casa Langa di Lola only serves breakfast (for guests of the double room). Fresh fruit, which grows completely naturally in the garden, plays a major role here. The area surrounding the property is also famous for its fantastic cuisine and offers a very large selection of local osterias and trattorias offering authentic, seasonal dishes. Most of them make everything themselves, such as fresh pasta and homemade bread.
EnvironmentThe accommodation focuses on sustainability with careful waste separation, its own natural water source and the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products. The garden is more than just a green oasis. It presents the diversity of the seasons in the form of delicious fruits - from figs and apricots in summer to persimmons in autumn to plums and grapes. In addition, herb bushes such as rosemary, thyme and sage invite you to enjoy the aromas of nature and feel the connection with the green surroundings.
Well-BeingYoga can either be practiced alone in the garden or lessons can be booked upon request. Yoga mats are available for rental.
