Amidst picturesque olive groves and vineyards, in the most beautiful location in the entire Chianti region of Tuscany, a breathtaking view awaits guests in CampoLungo: a blooming garden, gently rolling hills and majestic trees create an oasis of peace, crowned by fantastic sunsets.
The traditional winemaker's house, lovingly run by the host family, was restored with modern designs and opened in 1996. Since then it has been continuously expanded and renewed. CampoLungo consists of two spacious apartments, Lungo and Alto, each measuring approximately 100 square meters, as well as two smaller units, Torre and Studio, measuring 45 and 55 square meters each. Each residential unit has been tastefully furnished and equipped with original design classics and antique furniture.
The apartments are spacious and cozy, with daylight coming in wonderfully depending on the window and time of day. Each residential unit also has its own terrace with teak furniture, chairs and parasols as well as a loggia - with a view of the beautiful vineyards and the warm Tuscan morning and evening light.

Sustainable
ArchitectureThere is no plastic furniture in the property, everything can be recycled. In addition, only regional materials were used and even old, original terracotta floors and roofs were used.
Only employees from the region work in CampoLungo. Host Verena Zintzmeyer also built a hospital in Burundi a few years ago.
EnvironmentCampoLungo uses alternative cleaning products and no garden chemicals. Instead, the hosts compost, promoting the natural health of the soil. The water is drawn from our own source and consumption depends on the careful handling that the hosts practice and also encourage their guests to do.

By car
From Florence it takes around 1 hour to get to the accommodation (40 km). From Siena it is also about an hour away (46 km), from Pisa it is just under 2 hours (105 km), from Perugia it is also about 2 hours (130 km) and from Bologna it is also a good 2 hours (139 km). With public transport
A bus goes from Greve to Lamole. The bus stop is just 500 meters from the house.
