Benedikta

Vandans, Vorarlberg, Austria

Located in the middle of the idyllic Montafon, surrounded by meadows, old trees and adjacent agriculture, which is managed in partnership with local farmers, is the holiday accommodation Benedikta, which offers a holiday experience like in old times, with generous space in and around the house, offers.

A quiet luxury characterizes the ambience of the house. Selected materials and subtle colors reflect nature in the house. On the ground floor, guests experience a homely and cozy atmosphere for cooking and living, while the upper floor impresses with clear lines and craftsmanship in the sleeping area. Here the connection to nature becomes a true experience.

The house bears traces of the past since 1836, when it found its place on the edge of the forest in Vandans. The interlocking wooden beams, the roof shingles and the characteristic box windows testify to the traditional architecture of the Montafon and tell of a heritage that is carefully preserved.

Sustainable

ArchitectureA careful renovation was carried out inside the house with respect to this history in order to give the property a contemporary character. The Montafonerhaus embodies a unique house type in the valley. It is characterized by the preservation of ancient elements carefully and clearly combined with modern additions. Regional craft businesses with deep-rooted traditions played a crucial role here. Natural materials, such as the characteristic rough-sawn wood treated with soap, give the house its authentic charm. The natural garden, designed like a cottage garden, is actively used for agriculture.

The employees at Benedikta have been there for a long time and are familiar with the area. The hosts provide charitable support to the Montafon Lions Club.

Well-BeingThe property offers a sauna with direct access to the garden with scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The property also includes an extensive herb and flower garden with a fire bowl and barbecue area. The hosts recommend using the house as a retreat for personal time out. It offers the opportunity to let your thoughts wander, explore new paths and plan targeted "thinking days".

Testimonials
