The ArtHill eco villas sit on the top of a small hill in Chalkidiki in beautiful Greece. The panoramic sea views, the private pool and the fresh vegetables and herbs in the garden as well as the sunsets ensure that guests here have a relaxing and unforgettable holiday.
The owners Artemis and Ben have owned the property with the five villas since summer 2021 and run them together. The vision of the two was not just to rent out houses, but to create a complete concept. The approach is environmentally friendly and the steps towards reduced ecological footprint are increasing every year.
The main design of the villas is the same, but the decoration details and colors vary from villa to villa. However, the general style is wood-heavy, cozy, warm, light-filled and earthy tones.

ArchitectureThe stone used to build the houses comes from the Halkidiki region.
The employees are from the region and have some flexibility with the working hours. During the off season, they are encouraged to take English courses if desired. We offer our help with the transportation from/to work if needed.
EnvironmentArtHill relies on its own solar panels. The houses feature energy-efficient appliances and LED lighting with motion sensors. The heat pumps work with environmentally friendly electricity. There will soon also be charging stations for e-bikes and electric cars to promote sustainable mobility. Water resources are protected through consumption monitoring and water saving systems. This also includes a water filter for cooking water, dual flush toilets and a rainwater collection system. The linen and towel policy also promotes reuse and saves water. Guests are also actively encouraged to take part in the recycling process and there are dedicated bins for recycling, compost and general waste in each home. The ArtHill eco villas integrate harmoniously into nature, with a 2,500 square meter garden, many lemon, plum and mulberry trees and an island garden. Each home is graced by an iconic olive tree and the vegetable garden serves to promote fresh and local ingredients. Green housekeeping is also a cornerstone of the sustainability approach: environmentally friendly cleaning products, sustainable mattresses and towels from Cocomat are used. The hosts avoid single-use items, offer their guests drinking water in reusable glass bottles and encourage the purchase of local products for a reduced carbon footprint.
