Behind Anna's house is an ecologically built wooden house in a beautiful rhododendron garden. The most splendid sight is in May with an exuberant display of flowers. In general, the garden and the immediate surroundings of the beech forest are a natural spectacle - in every season. A spacious terrace and a lawn that invites children to play are adjacent to the house. The surrounding nature brings peace with it.
The contemplative atmosphere of the outside continues inside the house. The ecological wooden house offers a pleasant room climate - just right for a relaxing holiday. The house is flooded with sunlight in the morning, and pleasantly cool during the day, even when the outside temperature is very high. The carefully selected, cozy interior furnishings are worth a second look, as they can be described as a beautiful mix of styles of designer objects from the 80s and 90s (including Rosenthal porcelain, Philippe Starck chairs, Murano lamps). The rooms are designed in one color line, towels and bed linen included.
The house was built in 2015. Following the principle of Eugen Gomringer "The easy way is just the way", Andrea works in her job as a decorator / interior designer and has also applied this principle to the holiday home. She discovered this quiet, beautiful place by chance on a sunny summer day. She describes it as love at first sight. When the house was finished, the thought occurred to her to share it and dedicate it to her great-aunt Anna, who with her pragmatism and Rhenish humor has contributed a lot to the hostess' way of life today.
ArchitectureAnna's house is built according to ecological principles; a wooden house made of natural building materials with surface collector heating and photovoltaics. The architect and the hostess have enjoyed a long friendship since school. Sustainability is important to both - and not just since it became a hot topic. Thanks to the shared know-how, they were able to think through the building project in an ecologically sensible way down to the last detail and finally implement it. The result, in the simplest cubature, was a wooden house ensemble that blends wonderfully into the forest environment. The house was built by a regional timber house builder and local craftsmen.
EnvironmentInside the ecological wooden house you will find interiors in modern re-cycling and upcycling style. Anna's house is surrounded by a natural garden. In the garden (almost) every plant has a chance, because that means happiness for bees. The guests' green waste also ends up “naturally” on the compost. EM is used to clean the house. Even if it may seem a bit old-fashioned in times of social networks Andrea appreciates her privacy, as well as that of her guests. She is a passionate host and it is a matter close to her heart to tailor the holiday offer to the wishes and needs of her guests. We would also be happy to talk to you about the environment and nature conservation.
