Nestled in the idyllic landscape of Ostprignitz-Ruppin, this lovingly renovated old village house offers unobstructed views of the countryside. A retreat full of charm and history.
Siblings Corinna and Götz Kassner jointly manage the house, which has previously housed a tavern and a doctor's office. Today, it invites vacationers with its vintage interior, select unique pieces, and meticulous attention to detail. Each room is individually designed, tells its own story, and creates an atmosphere that combines nostalgia with modern comfort. A record player for background music, a projector for cozy movie nights, a hammock in the garden, and a view of the surrounding countryside make everyday life seem far away. The house is ideal for a wonderful family vacation or a getaway with your best friends. The large, open kitchen is a wonderful place to cook together and chat. In summer, the summer breeze drifts in through the open patio door, and in winter, the fireplace crackles.
The large outdoor area is particularly beautiful: Here you can sit by the fire, gaze at the stars, or simply unwind. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities – whether walks through the fields, bike rides, a dip in one of the nearby lakes, or a trip to INSL Kyritz, a beer garden on a small island. The region also has a lot to offer culturally: small towns like Kyritz and Wittstock or a privately rentable village cinema invite you to explore.

ArchitectureThe renovation involved local craftsmen and materials. Thus, the house combines regional architecture with ecological responsibility – in the spirit of a conscious, mindful holiday in the countryside.
FoodYou can also book regional catering, private cooking, or cooking classes—including vegan, vegetarian, and Ayurvedic options. Food waste can be disposed of in the compost heap.
EnvironmentMany pieces of furniture were upcycled during the renovation, and existing materials were integrated into the design. Rainwater is used for garden irrigation via a pump, and care products are provided via refill systems. An electric car charging station and waste separation are also part of the concept.
Well-BeingA barrel sauna can be booked and delivered to your door. A masseuse can also be arranged upon request. Outdoor yoga classes are also offered in the village, weather permitting.
