The house itself has a long history: Originally built as a single story, it was expanded to four floors in the 1940s. It was acquired by the current owners in 2016 and officially opened to guests in 2022. Since then, the property has been personally managed – from managing bookings to cleaning and providing all necessary amenities. The goal is to make guests feel like they are staying with friends or family, rather than in an anonymous vacation rental.

The ground floor of the house boasts a modern, minimalist design, created after a renovation due to water damage. The first two floors have retained their historic charm: traditional "marmette" tiles, slightly uneven walls, and light, modern wooden shelving lend the rooms warmth and character.
