Frede, her husband Axel and their three children have created a holiday oasis for friends and families that is as sustainable as it is stylish in the village of Kittlitz in Schleswig-Holstein after almost two years of renovation work.

In the thatched brick house from 1840, four spacious holiday apartments with a beautiful and at the same time sustainable interior have been created after the core renovation. Frede is an interior designer and stylist by training and has furnished the apartments in a modern, stylish and comfortable way, while preserving the old charm of the building. The renovated half-timbered structure matches the furniture made of rattan and Viennese weave, zellige tiles in the bathroom in pink or sage green provide stylish accents, beautiful boho blankets, cushions and matching decorative objects round off the concept. The apartments have very well equipped and pretty kitchens made of real wood. There are also tips for good shopping opportunities from the lovely hosts. Workshops on sustainable living, team building seminars and yoga retreats can also be booked. And all around there is pure nature to switch off and relax - meadows, lakes, moors and lots of apple trees. And if you want to get a taste of the city for a change, you can quickly get to Lübeck or Schwerin. Ah, if only there were always (long) holidays...
