Steinach Townhouse Meran: a charming residence in the historic heart of Meran. The perfect place to spend holidays and unforgettable moments.
Steinach Townhouse Meran is a historic house with modern comfort - a symbiosis of old and new. The attention to detail, the uniqueness of the small town and the joy of the hosts can be felt in many details. The building in which the accommodation is located is in the center of Merano, but away from the tourist hustle and bustle, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, the neighboring church tower, the roofs and alleys of the old town and the river bank.
The house was completely renovated from 2019 to 2020 with the aim of preserving the old and combining it with the new. The owners have therefore retained and restored the historic doors, original floors and walls, giving the house a unique and elegant touch. A lot of time was invested in researching and collecting original South Tyrolean furniture in order to combine the different styles and furnish the suites with taste and elegance.
The house's passion for interior design and art has made the suites an ideal retreat for those who love places that tell a story and for those who value comfort and luxury services that make life beautiful. The rooms are mostly decorated with works of art by local artists, creating an individual atmosphere. Valuable modern details such as home automation systems, underfloor heating and the use of the latest materials make the place unique.
From March 2024, the house will be run by the famous chef Andrea Fenoglio. After years of experience in the world of gastronomy with the Sissi restaurant in Merano, which has been awarded a Michelin star since 2009, and the Pizzeria 357, also in Merano, Andrea Fenoglio felt the need to express his vision of authentic and family hospitality Coziness should also be extended to the Steinach town house.
A tireless partner in the project is Andrea's partner Katalin, who has been successfully working in the catering and hotel industry for years. The team also includes Licia, who has worked as a general manager across Europe and is an expert in the reception and management of groups and events.
