Rojst

Bartoszyce, Warmia-Masuria, Poland

Guesthouse Rojst is located in rural Poland, amidst forests, fields and small ponds. The hosts' vision was to create a special place - with home-cooked meals and a large garden with flowers, fruit and vegetables. They wanted to create a feeling of "home" with their accommodation.

The Rojst has been around since 2017. Originally, the idea of the hosts was to build a family house. But then they found out that their house is in an area with special mud deposits. Since the mud has exceptional health-promoting properties, they decided to make it accessible to others as a spa treatment. Rojst is therefore a place where people can heal - through mud and thermal baths, physiotherapy and other spa offers.

Thus, guests can taste the natural mud here – in the form of a bath or a mud pack. The mud is completely natural, coming directly from the surrounding fields and ensures supple skin and relaxing moments. The Rojst's spa area also offers facial and body treatments, massages and cryotherapy, and there is a sauna.

The guest house is kept in the typical style of the old post-German buildings. The furniture was made from old wood, characteristic of the village style. Outside, the grounds are full of green grass, flowers, and trees. There is also a small swimming pond. The five rooms and two cottages have been designed with lots of wood and are therefore very comfortable. There are plenty of relaxed moments with a view of the countryside here.

Sustainable

ArchitectureMost of the furniture and doors are made of wood sourced from local forests.

Food80% of the food comes from the garden or from the farmers in the village. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly dishes are also available on request. The menu is varied and guests usually love the bread that the hosts bake themselves. There are also soups, cakes and delicious main dishes. Food waste is given to the chickens of a neighboring farmer.
