Since 2022, Kerstin and her family have been welcoming guests to mirnockAHOI for holidays, retreats, and workations. The holiday home that her father bought for the family and which Kerstin then renovated together with her husband is located in the immediate vicinity of the 300-year-old farm where she spent many summers helping her grandparents with their summer guests – a truly special place. A natural host, she loves welcoming people from all over the world. And the name? "Ahoi" (Ahoy) because of her father, a real seafarer, and Kerstin's own childhood on the coast. And Mirnock is the name of the local mountain, which is said to possess a very special energy.

It was particularly important to the family to use all resources responsibly during the renovation and to clearly demonstrate their connection to nature. Light colors and natural materials create a cozy atmosphere. Furthermore, the house was designed to offer all guests—and especially families—every comfort they could need on vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped, and high chairs and stair gates ensure safety. There is ample seating in the garden for everyone, and those who wish can relax in the hammock. As the daughter of a cook, Kerstin loves to cook and bake – and with a bit of luck, there's fresh cake or homemade jam on the table for her guests. And that feels incredibly wonderful, like comfort and home!
