The house was newly built in 2025 and constructed according to modern energy standards. Sustainable construction methods, modern insulation, and wood in the interior create a pleasant indoor climate that promotes relaxation and well-being. Mann&Fru is divided into two apartments: “Mann” on the ground floor – bright, open, and with direct access to the garden, and “Fru” on the upper floor – cozy under the thatched roof, intimate and charming. Both units combine design with comfort and convey a true feeling of home.
The hosts have been connected to Wustrow for over 25 years, having worked here, raised their family, and long dreamed of making this special place their home again. Today, guests can explore the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula near the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park – a place of nature, sea, and historic villages.

Sustainable
The holiday home features dormer windows with bat windows and a durable artificial thatch roof – low-maintenance, recyclable, and an environmentally friendly alternative with a lifespan of up to 50 years. As a KfW 40-certified house, it was designed and built to be energy efficient. All construction work was carried out by regional companies who realized the project with extensive expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
A geothermal system, heat pump, and photovoltaic panels on the outbuilding supply the house with electricity and heat. Waste separation is standard practice. The energy-efficient new building combines modern technology with high-quality materials and completely forgoes fossil fuels.
Each holiday apartment has its own sauna. Yoga enthusiasts will find a yoga studio right on the street, Ayurvedic treatments are available in the neighboring village, and beauty salons are just a few doors down. The surrounding area is perfect for outdoor activities: hikes through the Darß Forest National Park, along the cliffs or the Bodden lagoon, and to the sea. Surf schools and bicycle rentals are nearby, and full-day bike tours across the entire peninsula are easily accessible.
