Huus Uelvesbüll

Uelvesbüll, North Sea, Germany

Surrounded by meadows, sheep and cattle, this gem is idyllically embedded in nature. You can see the detached house with its beautiful thatched roof from afar.

Huus Uelvesbüll is around 120 years old and was built by local carpenters. In the meantime, it was lived in by the Eiderstedt artist Thomas Freund, whose pictures still hang in the house today. After extensive renovation, guests can stay here comfortably and have a particularly relaxing holiday.

The three holiday apartments of different sizes are furnished in a minimalist, Scandinavian style. Each apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, and the house also has a sauna and a relaxation room for relaxing hours. The natural materials such as the elegant wooden beds, the elegant oak parquet, the cozy wool carpets, old tiles and decorative wickerwork create a cozy atmosphere. The hosts wanted to create a place for relaxation with a lot of peace and quiet where extended families and friends could spend a nice time. All holiday apartments can be booked together or individually.

The region also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine - sweet tooths in particular will get their money's worth here. Whether it's the fresh Frisian cake in the colorful country café Eclair, the great cakes in the rustic Swiss house, the noble tarts in the distinctive artist café Husum or the full-fledged cakes in the Hoyerswort mansion. The mix of beautiful nature, soothing sauna, crackling fireplace and good food is simply unbeatable.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe architecture, or rather the renovation, was based on the conditions of the house and its history. Natural materials were used as much as possible, things were reused and walls were insulated for better energy efficiency. Local craftsmen take care of the preservation and maintenance. Environment: The green electricity is purchased from Lichtblick, waste separation and environmentally friendly cleaning products from Frosch are just as obvious as the electric car charging station in front of the door. The firewood is obtained exclusively on our own property. Organic wall paints, varnishes and materials such as wood were used during the renovation

All employees come from the region and are paid above the collective agreement. In addition to personal contact with each other, there are also team events such as Christmas parties.

Well-BeingSauna with a view, sauna oils are available free of charge. A Kneipp foot bath is refreshing no matter the weather.
