Heidi Chalets

Patergassen, Carinthia, Austria

The Heidi Chalets are located in the biosphere reserve of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nockberge in Austrian Carinthia, on an alpine pasture at 1850 meters. From there you have a wonderful view of the mountains, grazing cows and high alpine stone pine forests and thus enjoy the absolute peace and quiet.

The Heidi Chalets are a family business, run by Nayeli and Nico Schödl, daughter Nicole and Jack Russell bitch Luna. The chalets impress with the combination of high-quality and ecological timber construction, sustainability and a touch of luxury. They are stylish and modern, as well as alpine and cozy.

But not only the interior is impressive, the location of the chalets is also quite unique. In the middle of the nature park, away from any mass tourism, you can start hiking right from the front door, go to the nearby mountain lakes and streams or take advantage of the great leisure activities. Children in particular get their money's worth on the Alm with a children's via ferrata with guide, bouldering, slackline, Heidialm adventure park, fishing, horseback riding and cycling.

Sustainable

ArchitectureThe chalets all impress with their high-quality and ecological solid wood construction (spruce and larch from local forests) and only local companies were commissioned for the construction. The windows and floors are also made of natural materials and the heating is operated with renewable raw materials (wood). In addition, the hotpots on the terrace run entirely without disinfection or chlorine - every guest gets fresh water that comes directly from the alpine pasture.

The Heidi Chalets are a family business employing local staff. There is a friendly bond, not only between owners and employees, but also with the guests, who are always personally welcomed "in Carinthian" on arrival. The Schödl family supports sustainable projects in the area and also makes regular donations. In addition, she is active in the local tourism association and is involved, among other things, in environmentally friendly tourism and the preservation of the unique (cultural) and alpine landscape.

Well-BeingThe Heidi Chalets offer those seeking peace and quiet and those who enjoy: a large sun terrace with loungers, a whirlpool tub with LED relaxation light, your own sauna, your own outdoor and indoor fireplace with logs and a hot tub directly on the panorama terrace.
