Panorama Chalet Minimalus is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley, surrounded by meadows and forests.
Even upon waking, the view through the large panoramic windows opens onto the greenery. Early risers, with a bit of luck, might spot deer in the meadow, while the stream babbles gently in the background.
Host Marius Bräunlich has created a place here that reflects his own vision of tranquility and modern nature living. Originally built in the 1970s, the holiday home was lovingly renovated by him and his family with a great deal of personal effort and attention to detail, and reopened to guests in 2025. Many pieces of furniture were handcrafted: tasteful wooden elements and custom-made features give the chalet a truly personal character. Everything blends together perfectly, creating a cozy, nature-inspired atmosphere. The bed in the bedroom can even be rolled outside – for nights under the stars.
In addition, there's an outdoor cinema, a whirlpool, and an infrared sauna that transform even rainy days into a spa experience. But nature always takes center stage; the generous glass fronts create a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors, allowing the changing seasons to be reflected directly within the chalet. Modern living doesn't require a lot of space, but rather thoughtful design, large windows, and a few special details. The many wonderful features of the Panorama Chalet ensure an unforgettable stay surrounded by nature.

The style of the accommodation is clean, modern, and personal all at once – with great attention to detail and a calm, uncluttered design. High-quality and sustainable materials such as wood, steel, glass, and clay were deliberately chosen for the furnishings and decor. The wood for the terrace comes from the region. The oak wood for the bed and sofa also comes from local forests and was processed by the owner himself.
The employees come from the surrounding towns in the region. Marius Bräunlich places particular importance on creating a family-like and relaxed working environment – also for employees with children.
The renovated existing building is sustainably heated with a heat pump, and solar panels are also installed on the green roof. The whirlpool is also heated with a heat pump. Waste separation and the responsible use of resources are integral parts of the concept. Environmentally friendly cleaning products are used whenever possible.
