Overlooking the lagoon, the San Marco Basin and the Santa Maria della Salute church, this charming penthouse loft in the Castello district offers a unique Venice experience.
Away from the hustle and bustle, yet centrally located, the city of canals can be explored on foot: just 15 minutes along the promenade to St. Mark's Square. Anyone who lives in Venice knows how rare truly light-filled apartments with panoramic views are – here the sun shines from morning till night, and even in the darker months, the apartment exudes a warm, cozy atmosphere.
The apartment in the approximately 350-year-old house has been carefully renovated, exposing the original beams across two levels and revealing the typical Venetian architecture. The characteristic terrazzo floor enhances the cozy feeling, while Italian clarity, traditional wooden beams, and modern architecture meet.
High-quality fabrics, Danish ceramics, and cozy wool blankets ensure comfort. The double bed is located under the sloping roof on the mezzanine, snug in winter and pleasantly cool in summer thanks to air conditioning.
The location in the Castello district makes the loft particularly appealing: green and shady squares, small parks with rotating sculptures from the Biennale, play areas for children, and walking paths for dogs ensure moments of relaxation. At the same time, some of the best restaurants, the Venezia FC stadium, and the hosts' favorite pizzeria, Vecia Gina, are all within easy reach. This loft combines light, comfort, and the unmistakable charm of Venice – a retreat that allows you to experience the magic of the city firsthand.

The loft combines typical Venetian architecture inside and out – perfectly imperfect, just as that which makes up the city's special charm. As is customary in Venice, most of the renovation materials were delivered by ship.
Very close to the apartment, on Via Garibaldi – Venice's widest street – the vegetable boat docks daily, offering fresh fruit and vegetables from the nearby island of Sant'Erasmo, the fertile "Garden of Venice." At a local wine shop, sparkling wines and wines from the Veneto hills are also bottled directly from large barrels into customers' own bottles.
